Bontepike
‘Bonte Pike’ is designed by Pierre Bonte who used to work at the Jan van Eyck academy as a (sign)painter. When painting the walls of the academy Pierre would also do some lettering for the signage of the space. Throughout the years he developed his own font with the brush. Traces of the font are still visible in the building and from these traces a digital version of the font is being produced by Our Polite Society as a homage to Pierre and his work.
